Hey guys. Its Dan Scher. You see me at each meeting, sometimes in the front of the room, leading, sometimes in the back of the room, listening. Sometimes I am quiet and sitting on a steel chair, other times, you can find me with cake and forsting and hot cookies smeared on my face. While I do seem to come to each meeting with new jokes and stories, I hope that you always see me at each meeting with a warm smile.

I want to be someone to whom you can address your questions of life. This theme reminds me of a story.

This is me!
"There was a man who fell into a pot hole on a rainy day. The walls were so steep that he could not get out. A doctor passed by and the man said, 'doctor, doctor, can you get me out of this whole?' The doctor wrote a prescription, threw it in the hole, and went on his way. A rabbi passed by and the mas said, 'rabbi rabbi, can you get me out of this hole?' The rabbi sanf a prayer and moved on. Then, the man's friend walked by, and the man said, 'Jim, I'm stuck in this hole, can you get me out?' Jim jumped in the hole, and the man asked, 'what the heck did you do that for; now we are both down here. The friend said, 'yeah, but I've been down here before and I know the way out."

I have experienced a lot in life and have mich left to experience. I feel that I can help you in almost any problem that you may come across, by, (at the very least), being a friend with a willing ear. My number is 765-4738; please feel free to call me at anytime.

I hope that you have enjoyed your experiences in USY. It is difficult to develop a balance religious, social, and community aspects of USY, and I hope that an equilibrium has been acheived. The other board memers are fabulous and all deserve credit in the world for a successful year. Please consider taking on a leadership role in USY by running for chapter board or by applying for a general board position.
